THE STORY
We met for the first time in high school during a cotillion (debutante ball) rehearsal in 2008 in our hometown. During that time, we did not talk much but knew of each other.
Shortly after, we connected while in college (thanks Facebook) and even went on a date on one of our breaks! Our first official date was to TGI Fridays in our hometown. Being in two different states (at two different schools) just would not work out for us so we went our separate ways.
Once more, we ended up running into each other at a mutual friend's house in Washington D.C. during a homecoming event for Howard University. We even stayed at the same house during that weekend. We talked briefly and we both, again, went our separate ways.
Finally, we connected on Facebook after several years (Thanks Facebook again!). We both decided we would meet up and fly to Orlando during Labor Day weekend 2014 and we have been inseparable ever since.
